The legendary singer-songwriter and performer opened up about his sexuality in an interview with People Magazine where he confirmed his three-year marriage to husband Garry Kief. The 74-year star opted to not come out earlier in his career with concerns about how his legions of fans would feel. He added, “I thought I would be disappointing them if they knew I was gay. So I never did anything.”
