She’s an American Idol alum who has made a career from singing despite being unable to take home the grand prize. Her father, Clyde, has become famous as well, but for all the wrong reasons. It has been mentioned that he had battled his drinking for years and in 2003, he was caught and sentenced to three years behind bars for assault and battery in regards to a stabbing incident. When he was out on probation, he left the state and never informed his parole officer. He was declared a fugitive, but for Pickler, he’s actually a good man with a problem holding his liquor.
