The judge ended up giving Melissa a 90-day jail sentence with a three year probation. Not only did this seem like it was an incredibly light sentence, to make matters worse, Melissa’s record would be completely expunged after serving her sentence and probation time. That meant that if anyone bothered to check her background after the time was done, they would see a clean record, which also meant she could work as a nanny again. This totally infuriated the couple!
