As with every couple, the most naturally thing to do is to expand the brood. Eight months after taking Keola home with them, Alhanna and Ricky thought of expanding their family of three, taking the next step into their relationship and trying to have a baby. It was not as easy as going to the local breeder and it was not quite like how the special Akita in their lives chose them to be her parents. The couple were now feeling a little desperate and Keola knew she had to pitch-in somehow. They expressed, “we did test after test but with no luck.” Alhanna recalls.
