Once again, Kyle was put up for adoption. It wasn’t a decision John wanted to make, but there was no choice. The family that chose to take him in, the Smiths, were a lovely couple named Thomas and Jane, who also had children. They instantly fell in love with Kyle and were ready to take him into their home with them. The problem was that they lived in a small house, and Kyle didn’t have that much space to roam around, but they made it work. They were living in the city because their son needed to be there, so when he eventually moved out, the Smiths decided it was time to move to the countryside.
