As soon as John picked up the call, he knew something was wrong. His first thought was ‘did something happen to Kyle?’ ‘Was he sick?’ or maybe something worse. When he finally answered the call, Thomas explained Kyle’s strange behavior, which in a way, made John feel better. But he did share that he recognized Kyle’s behavior. He explained that the dog must be on to something, and he was trained to sit and wait until someone came to retrieve it.
