As if he were back in training, every time Kyle would take a walk, he would pick up a scent and follow it. His police dog personality would kick in, walking with his nose close to the ground, his ears alert, even making sudden stops when it seemed like he would catch particular scents on the ground. He had suddenly returned to his K-9 ways and nothing was going to stop him. Thomas and Jane didn’t know what to do, so they just let him be and followed his lead while they were on their walks, watching in awe as Kyle sniffed out every little thing.
