Back in 1964, a dance club named Whisky A Go Go in West Hollywood, California was one of the most popular spots for partygoers would go to have fun. It was actually a franchise, with the first nightclub opening up in Chicago then Washington D.C. It was also one of the more popular clubs where tons of bands found their popularity. Guns N Roses, Steppenwolf, Motley Crue and Van Halen are all heavy hitters that had played at the club at least once in their lifetime, if not many nights while gaining followers. It was definitely the place to go if you wanted to have a good time.
