Hells Angels in the 70s

The motorcycle group, Hell’s Angels, has gotten a bad rap over the years. But what people don’t know is that they are not a bunch of guys riding on their motorcycles looking for people to beat up or hurt. Although they may seem like a gang, they are actually the Hells Angels Motorcycle Club that basically has a love of Harley Davidson motorcycles that love riding on road trips together. Although most of them do have jackets – like these members in England from the 70s – they earn their marks by riding with the rest of the “gang” until they have earned the right to add patch after patch on their jackets. You also need to have a license that allows you to drive a Harley over 750 CC.
