A man had a rather dangerous encounter with a shark while spear-fishing off Pompano Beach, Florida.
The encounter was caught on video.
Sean ‘Ace’ O’Connor said he just caught a fish and became tangled in the line when the shark started swimming toward him.
Sean said he kicked furiously to get away from the shark that had an eye on his catch.
“After what felt like eternity I was finally able to get untangled but the shark kept trying to bite me,” Sean said in his YouTube post.
Sean freed himself from the line and the dead fish. The shark devoured it in no time.
Sean said he’s been attacked by sharks before, but called this incident with this nurse shark “something new and unexpected.”
