Rumors Swirl That Clare and Dale Spoke Before the Show

Considering that Clare had fallen hard for Dale so fast, Reality Steve said he had reason to believe that the Bachelorette and the former NFL star had spoken before the start of the show. But he took it back, explaining in another Instagram Live that they hadn’t spoken, but they did stalk each other over Instagram, checking out each other’s feeds and liking what they saw. Since his name had come up early as a contestant, and then filming was postponed, it gave them ample time to research who the other one was. And even Dale’s sister shot down any claims that the two knew each other, saying “That’s tarnishing my brother’s name and it’s COMPLETELY false. Your source for that information is LYING. I know this because I spent every day with my brother leading up to production! Never once did he reach out, nor was he ever contacted by Clare! My brother was EXTREMELY adamant about the rules, contracts, and privacy. He had EVERYTHING to lose and NOTHING to gain by communicating beforehand.”
