Matt James Was Supposed to Be On Clare’s Season

Fans will eventually find out that Clare’s tweet was apparently aimed at none other than Matt James. James, who happens to be the best friend of none other than Tyler C., Hannah Brown’s runner up turned media sensation on her Bachelorette season. Clare actually tweeted “If you are doing interviews and creating Cameo accounts before you are even on my season… you are in it for the wrong reasons… #dontwasteyourtime.” It would seem that Clare didn’t know about James’ work with The Robin Hood Foundation, a New York nonprofit organization that helps fight against poverty. And rather than James ending up on her season, ABC decided to turn him into the next Bachelor for Season 25, as well as the first ever black male lead on the show. His season has already begun filming, and is set to air early 2021.
