Most Bachelorette seasons have an overall “theme” to their season. For Hannah Brown, it was about “sharing and knowing her heart,” but for Clare, apparently it’s all about respect. Supposedly, Clare mocks the guys during the original shutdown of the season when filming was moved back, tweeting that the guys who had been cast needed to “respect the rules and respect the opportunity” they’ve been given as contestants on the show. Many claimed that this was because she said some of the guys were using their newfound fame to raise money via the Cameo app. ABC pushed it even further when they released a trailer teaser showing Dale Moss saying that respect was “the most important element he was looking for.”
