Clare Crawley, who came off of Juan Pablo Galavis’s season of The Bachelor, was set to start filming season 16 sometime in March 2020. But when the pandemic hit, things took an unprecedented turn that left the entire season all out of whack. Fans waited patiently to find out when filming would finally begin, and when filming finally began in July, fans also thought things would move along in the usual Bachelorette fashion. That’s when the public would find out that after just a few weeks of filming, Clare decided to walk away from everything, leaving producers scrambling to find a new Bachelorette, which thankfully they did! Tayshia Adams, who’s from Colton Underwood’s Bachelor season, took over once Clare’s season was declared finished.
