Sea lions are adorable, sure, but don’t even attempt to go against one. A male California sea lion weighs north of 700 pounds. This man must have forgotten about this tiny fact because he decided to turn his back on the mammal in order to take a selfie. Things quickly turned south because instead of going back into the water immediately, the sea lion decided to bite him. Obviously, it’s futile to fight something so strong and heavy, which the man must have learned not too long after.
