British singer Adele seemingly came out of nowhere, catapulting into stardom basically overnight. After creating a demo during her time in the BRIT school, one of her friends decided to post the tape on MySpace, and the rest, as they say, is history. Her very first album, entitled 19, which Adele wrote at the age of 19, garnered her Best New Artist and Best Female Pop Vocal Performance awards. Her second album, 21, was number one in over 30 countries, guaranteeing her a spot in music history, as well as in popularity, fame, and of course, fortune. Now, the British singer – whose real name is truly Adele – is currently said to be worth $220 million.
