Another billionaire that has decided to buy her own yacht is none other than Harry Potter creator, J. K. Rowling. The author reportedly bought the boat, Amphitrite, from actor Johnny Depp back in 2015 for a mind-boggling $27 million. The sea vessel, which looks more like a giant sailing boat, is decked out with a state-of-the-art satellite system, multiple guest rooms, and the ability to run at a stunning 12-knot cruising speed. Rowling decided to sell the boat just one year later, dropping the boat price as low as $19 million.
