Gregory Jr.’s life wasn’t always bad. In fact, the boy shared that he had a very loving mother that made sure to take care of him and his brother, Samuel. His mom, Lisa Smith, happened to be an immigrant from Haiti. And although she and Gregory’s father, Gregory Jean Sr. didn’t end up together, the two kept a relationship because of their children. Lisa lived around 400 miles to the south in Florida, and the kids only got to see their father every so often because of the distance. Regardless, he would send his children monetary support.
