There is just something about cake that makes it slippery. Singer songwriter Katy Perry had an on-stage mishap in 2008 when she was performing at the MTV Latin America Awards. Her song finale had her jumping into, rather than out of, a giant cake — but it doesn’t look like it was such an easy situation to get out of. Try as she may, she just ended up slipping on the mess of icing and stray cake bits and fell right back into the thick of things. Considering how slippery cake is, it’s odd that this dance number was given the green light — and we’re wondering if she somehow fared better in dress rehearsal, when there was likely no cake.
