RIP Kristen Stewart’s MTV Award

This time, it wasn’t a person so much as an innocent trophy who fell because of a star’s clumsiness. During the 2009 MTV Music Awards, Twilight star Kristen Stewart lost her grip on the Golden Popcorn for Best Female Performance after she had just given her acceptance speech. She turned to walk away with it, and accidentally dropped it from the podium. It broke, in typical KStew awkwardness. To her credit though, her mom called the event organizers and asked for the one she broke, so that she could always be reminded of that moment. The organizers had already had the award fixed however and they didn’t know which one Stewart had dropped.
