Yes, the wonderful woman was hurt by all the insults hurled her way, but she also knew that retreating back into the darkness wasn’t the solution. It certainly wasn’t hers. She wanted to show the world that there was a way to get out of this rut. There were also people who wished her nothing but the best. What about the other girls who weren’t “perfect” in society’s eyes? Didn’t they deserve to fight for their rights as well?
