Ellen’s show is supposed to spread happiness and joy. This means that the audience is mandated to wear fun, colorful outfits. It is their dress code, no plain black or white clothes allowed. Ellen does not have anything personal against black or white, if you wear these colors, pair it with something bright. Also, jeans are allowed for as long as it’s dressy and trendy.
