While reading in a room or anywhere else with poor lighting has always been an issue, these days, people must also contend with technology as well. Those that have a tendency to watch TV, use their computers, phones, or iPads in a darkly lit room don’t realize that all that contrasting light can be very detrimental to the eye. Since a dark room and the bright lights from whatever you are looking at or watching are contrasting, it can cause ‘blurry vision, dry eyes, fatigue and headaches.’
