Back in 2013, the city needed a way to transform downtown Las Vegas, so they brought in some of the country’s best muralists and artists to paint hundreds of murals all over the walls. They also had a weekend festival where people could come to watch some of the best musicians and DJs from all over the world, garnering millions of dollars for the state. The tradition has stuck and continues to go on every year, with more and more artists joining and more and more murals being added to the walls. And even if you’re not in town during the festival itself, taking a trip downtown to see all the artwork is epic all on its own and worth a looksee.
