Complications of some new cars, even if there is no one sitting there, they sound off unless you attach the belt. So even a grocery bag in the front seat is safe from going through the windshield. Really. The constant beeping can be really annoying if you are driving. It could even lead to accidents, especially if the driver is focused on the noise. So why do manufacturers include this feature? If it is a safety issue, then it does not live up to the standards set. Another useless “modern” amenity.
