Some vehicles give this “extra” feature some value, but in reality, they are more of a hindrance. Sensitive center console mouse pads are difficult to use while the car is moving. They become impractical and unsafe while driving. So what is it for? Seems just like an added useless expense. Surely most drivers can do without it. Any feature that needs you to take your eyes off the road is not safe. Driver safety should always be the priority.
