Remote entry systems are actually a great feature, but the required keyfobs have grown in size, particularly in luxury cars. Explained by the dealers that they are a status symbol, yeah, right. The status of stupidity probably. If the reason for these ridiculously large key fobs is that it makes it easier to find, well it can still be misplaced no matter its size. Smaller key fobs that work well are not as bulky. Having a larger key fob to emphasize to others that you are driving an expensive luxury car is all for the vain. If you want to impress then get a chauffeur instead.
