While bearing Puma on her attire on its own can be considered a good indication of the potential of her athletic success, Alica’s participation in the 2019 European Athletic Championships Under-23 titles was set to say more about her. Competing alongside her four-woman team with Nelly Schmidt, Luna Bulmahn, and Corinna Schwab, Alica set out once more to represent Germany at the 4×400 meter-relay. Granted that her unmistakable appeal played a significant role in her swift blink into fame, it comes as no surprise that some people would question the credibility behind her aspirations in the professional athletic scene. Many opinions and articles online would focus primarily on her beauty, or even worse still, her body, and pointedly downplay any achievements she might have in her chosen sport. This carried through even into big events she’d participate in. And it was at the European Athletic U23 Championships, where one might only imagine the weight of everyone’s expectations, when someone has to ask if a girl this hot could have actual athletic prowess? Or was it just another publicity stunt?
