Yes, there are some cafes, restaurants and of course Starbucks, that care whether it’s your birthday or not, but most others honestly couldn’t care less. A server named Michael explained, “Don’t ask for free things because it’s your birthday. If you’re out with friends, that’s the friends’ job to buy you something.
