Don’t Ask For Lemons

Customers love to request for lemons in their water whenever they are in a restaurant. But many waiters will tell you, just don’t. According to a Kansas City waitress named Charity Ohlund, “Now that I’ve worked in a restaurant, I never ask for lemon in a drink. Everybody touches them. Nobody washes them. We just peel the stickers off, cut them up, and throw them in your iced tea.” And even if it’s the server that asks you if you’d like lemon water, just say “No!”
