Some coffee shops and restaurants claim to be transparent when it comes to how many calories are in their drinks and food. But apparently most of them are not supposed to give the actual calorie count in case customers refuse to go back because of the high amounts of carbs and sugar. A pizza company employee even shared, “If you ask me how many calories are in a particular dish, I’m not allowed to tell you even if I know. I’m supposed to say, ‘All that information is available online.’”
