Yes your kid is cute I guess, but it doesn’t mean that your server wants to wait around while they decide what they want to eat. Servers beg that you just order the food for your kids so they aren’t left standing there waiting with no end in sight. A waiter in a pizza joint, Derek Dudley, shared, “If the restaurant is busy and your child is shy, please order for him. Kids can sit there forever trying to decide, or they whisper and you can’t hear them. Meanwhile, the people at the next table are yelling at you to come over.”
