The Tibetan Spaniel looks a little bit like a Pekingese with its small head, short legs, and long body. But while these ‘Tibbies,’ as it’s also known, were bred to live amongst the monks, they are rather quiet dogs that know how to be calm and steady. Although like most other dogs, it does need an occasional stroll around the yard to release some pent up energy, but once that’s done, it’s more than happy to find its favorite spot on the couch so that it can relax while also keeping a watch out for any interesting things that might happen as the day goes on.

Just remember that no matter what dog breed you decide to get as your family pet, as long as you truly love it, feed and nurture it properly, understand its personality, and give it the exercise it needs each and every day, that dog is going to love you back like nothing or no one else can!
