Similar to the Scottish Deerhound in size, coloring and appearance, the Irish Wolfhound is considered one of the top 10 biggest dog breeds on earth. On average, this dog is almost three feet in height, making it almost seem like having a small, domesticated horse inside your house. And while this dog enjoys to stretch out its legs and get a good run while outdoors, its more than happy to sit down on the couch with you, put its head in your lap and just relax as you go about your day.
