The Ocicat was named for its resemblance to an ocelot, but it has no ocelot in its blood line. They come in a variety of colors, but is known for its spots. They are muscular and heavier than they look. They are sociable and playful. They are good around strangers and get along with other animals. However, they can get aggressive at times. They can be trained just like dogs, and easily will learn to fetch, sit, lie down, and other commands. Females weigh around 6 to 9 pounds, while males average between 9 to 15 pounds.
