Never Try Surfing Venice Beach If You’re A Newbie

Again, Venice Beach is a surfers paradise, and the number of people riding the waves over there proves exactly this. But if you happen to be a newbie in the water, never try to go surfing there for the first time. Not only are the veterans not very welcoming of the newbies, but they tend to be quite territorial of the water. If nothing is going to deter you from trying out surfing when in LA for the first time, head over to the friendlier surfing beaches for newer surfers like Malibu Beach or San Onofre Beach.
