Never Be Disrespectful In Ethnic Minority Villages

Some tourists are attracted to visiting ethnic minority villages. But videos and some photo equipment are not allowed as the people find this to be intrusive. Some old beliefs do not allow photos to be taken. Best to ask permission from the tour guide. Also do not be loud as elders have superstitious beliefs about loud people, very negative beliefs. Besides, being loud is rude and obnoxious. Always be on your best behavior, particularly among elders of an indigenous tribe. Respect their traditions and beliefs. Remember you are a visitor.
