2. Fizz The Drain

More often than not, many gnats breed within the house drains where it’s nice and warm, and moist to boot. To make sure that they don’t lay eggs in the first place, then all you need to do is make sure you clean out the drain by “fizzing” it. First, you dump 3 to 5 tablespoons of baking soda into the drain then you pour 1 cup of any type of inexpensive vinegar down the drain after the soda. This will actually create a fizz, which will both unclog the drain as well as clean it out, leaving whatever was inside to be washed away. After 20 minutes, run cold water through the drain as well to wash away anything left behind in the drains, including any dead gnats.
