Type 1. Fruit Fly Gnats

As the name suggests, fruit flies are the type of gnats that are attracted to fruit, more so when they are already in decline or rotting, more so if the fruit it already in its rotten form. They also like other food that is either sweet or sour in taste and smell. To make it easier to distinguish them, they are also red-brownish in color and have red eyes.
