6. Egg Bait Trap

While this particular trap might work better for certain gnats, it still works all the same. Since you’ll be using raw eggs, best to only use this type of trap outside since it’s going to smell, horribly. Take a 1 gallon container and place four eggs inside, mixing them together. Once the eggs are all beaten, add water into the container and mix again. Next, take a few 1 liter bottles and fill them with the mixture, up to ¼ of the bottle. Whatever left over mixture can be stored in the ref in the meantime. Punch 5 to 10 holes in the bottle above the solution so that when the gnats enter, they drown. After a week, throw out the stinky concoction and any dead gnats, and refill once again with whatever was left of the original mixture.
