Most people are guilty of this nasty habit, they forget to clean the drain. Not only can the drain clog up with hair, dirt, and other particles, it can cause foul odors if not cleaned regularly. Sometime you may think these odors come from the toilet, but at times they come from the shower drain. It is not difficult to clean the drain, but it depends what type of drain you have. Pouring a little warm vinegar into the drain will help get rid of germs and odors. But if hair clogs your drain, you will have to disassemble it partially to remove the hairs that clog it up. If you always check the shower drain after a shower, you will notice if falling hair is present, and can remove it by swiping it with a tissue and throwing it in the trash bin.
