A Cryptic Message

As Chuck and Mary inspected the box closer, they found interesting details. Written in simple ballpen ink on the top of the box happened to be a short note that read, ‘Please open BEFORE wedding day.’ The engaged couple had no idea where the box had come from, or who had sent it. It was such a curious thing because nothing else was written on the card. Was this from a guest who just forgot to write his or her name on the card? Or, was this from someone else? A friend or a relative that wasn’t part of the list perhaps?
