When hounded by the media, Los Gatos Union School District Superintendent Diana G. Abbti, refused to speak to them, but she did release a statement. She explained that “Students are expected to wear clothes that are suitable for the school activities in which they participate.” In the end, the superintendent explained that their end goal was to have “reasonable decorum” both in the school and between the students on campus.
