Demetra had been a student at the Raymond J. Fisher Middle School in Los Gatos for a while. Unlike other schools, hers didn’t require the kids to wear a uniform. In fact, the consensus was that kids should wear what they want in order to be comfortable during class. Yet despite the leniency of the school, kids were still expected to dress appropriately, and Demetra always believed that she was following the rules.
