Homeland is the perfect American spy thriller that’s both exhilarating and addicting. Claire Danes, who plays the starring role of Carrie Mathison, who happens to be a CIA agent that has been diagnosed with bipolar disorder. The show’s premise revolves around her life and all the intricacies that anyone would assume a CIA agent has to deal with in their day to day life. While the show had such a strong following and the ability to leave people hanging by the edge of their seats, after eight seasons, the show was permanently taken off the air.
