Based on a book by Lev Grossman, The Magicians is a fantasy television series that almost felt like Harry Potter for adults. The story followed the life of Quentin Coldwater who goes to magic university to become a magician of course, where things gets even more exciting after he finds out the magic isn’t fantasy and the magical world from his favorite childhood book is actually real. The show managed to garner many fans from all over who were incredibly saddened to find out that the show wasn’t going to be renewed for a sixth season, leaving many saddened that they won’t get to see what happens to their beloved characters.
