Party of Five was one of those beloved shows that defined the 90s. It told the story of a family who was sadly orphaned after their parents died, and how the kids managed to remain together after their eldest brother became their legal guardian. In the remake, the Acosta family with 5 kids had to manage the loss of their parents due to deportation to Mexico. Fox believed that a reboot in 2020 would have the same type of following as the first one, but they were sorely wrong. The show got canceled after a single season on the network.
