Svetlana is originally from Ukrainian. She is currently based in Dubai; she is part of the cabin crew for FlyDubai. FlyDubai is a low-cost carrier serving the Middle East, Asia, Africa, and Europe. She is a fitness buff. In addition to that, she is also quite adventurous. She has had the opportunity to snorkel with the enormous whale sharks in the Philippines. She has also climbed the Himalayas, and on top of that, she was able to reach the Annapurna Base Camp!

All of this from someone who came from humble beginnings. Svetlana has mentioned that she, her mother, and grandmother were left homeless several years ago. “We had nowhere to live, long time we rented a house. After graduating from uni(versity), I left everything and went to work in Dubai… After 5 months of hard work at the hotel, I became a flight attendant.” She continues with “But despite all the troubles, I find the strength to smile and keep enjoying every day, keep traveling. And yes, for 7 years now I have been working in the sky.”
