Krys, The 28-Foot Crocodile

Crocodiles have been around for 200 million years, and alongside sharks, their existence has made them the ultimate predators. There are a hundred reasons why people fear crocs, yet their teeth alone are reason enough. Although over a million years ago, they would grow up to 40-feet, the biggest ever recorded in more modern times was a humongous 28-foot crocodile named Krys. He was found and killed by female croc hunter, Krystina Pawlowski, back in 1958. If you ever questioned just how big crocs could get, this photo says it all.
