Steer Clear of Coffee and Tea

Many flight attendants do not recommend drinking the coffee or tea that is served on flights, and for good reason! While the water is filtered and is not necessarily the same water that flows through the bathroom, the tanks that the water is kept in aren’t cleaned as often as you might think. Also, in some planes, the valve that controls the lavatory water is right next to the valve for the drinking water. Next time you fly, stick to bottled water.
